Enter your list
Paste or type names in the left box, one per line. You can edit anytime.
Pick a mode and run
Use the top toolbar to switch between Random Sort and Group. For groups, set the count and random vs sequential order, then tap the blue action button.
Copy or reshuffle
When results appear on the right, copy everything, copy one group, or tap Re-randomize to run again.
What if people do not divide evenly across groups?
Extra names are assigned one by one to the earliest groups, so group sizes differ by at most one person.
How is Random grouping different from Sequential?
Random shuffles the whole list before splitting evenly—great for fair draws. Sequential walks through your list in order, which helps when the list is already arranged on purpose.
How do I copy results?
In Random Sort, Copy All grabs the numbered list. In Group mode, each card has its own copy button, and Copy All copies every group in one go.
Is there a maximum list size?
There is no strict cap, but very long lists are harder to read—keep it to a sensible size for best results.
Are my names uploaded to a server?
No. Sorting and grouping run entirely in your browser. This tool does not upload or store your list on our servers.
