Random Sort
- Enter names in the left panel, one per line.
- Switch to the "Random Sort" tab.
- Click "Shuffle & Sort" — the list appears in random order on the right.
- Click "Copy All" to copy the numbered result, or "Re-randomize" to shuffle again.
Group
- Enter names in the left panel, one per line.
- Switch to the "Group" tab, set the number of groups and group mode.
- "Random" shuffles before distributing evenly; "Sequential" fills groups in input order.
- Click "Create Groups" — each group appears with its own copy button, or use "Copy All" for everything.
What if the list doesn't divide evenly?
Remainders are distributed one by one to the first groups, so groups differ by at most one person.
What is the difference between Random and Sequential grouping?
"Random" shuffles the list first and then distributes evenly — great for blind draws. "Sequential" fills groups in the order names were entered, which is useful when the list is already sorted.
How do I copy the results?
In Random Sort mode, "Copy All" copies the full numbered list. In Group mode, each group has its own copy button, and "Copy All" copies every group at once.
Is there a limit on list size?
There is no hard limit, but keeping the list reasonably sized ensures a good display experience.
