Select or drag an image

Supports JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP — opened locally in your browser only

Select your document
Click or drag an image into the panel on the left (JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP).
Pick a template
Choose a preset phrase from the dropdown or type your own wording.
Tune appearance
Adjust opacity, size, angle, and pick a color that contrasts with the photo.
Redact sensitive fields (optional)
Turn on the redaction brush and paint over barcodes, dates, or other fields you do not need to share.
Download or copy
Export JPEG (auto-compressed under 2 MB) or PNG, or copy the image to paste into chat or email.
When should I use this tool?
Whenever you must email or upload a copy of an ID for banking, government, rental, or online applications—watermarks discourage misuse if the file is leaked.
Is it safe? Does the image upload?
Yes, it is safe. Processing runs entirely in your browser. You can even use airplane mode to confirm nothing is sent to a server.
Single vs tiled watermark?
Single places one centered line; tiled repeats text diagonally across the whole image. Tiled is harder to crop or erase in an editor.
What is the redaction brush for?
Black out barcodes, reissue dates, or other fields on the back of an ID so you only share what the recipient must see.
The file is too large to upload elsewhere?
Use “Download JPEG”—quality is lowered automatically until the file is at most 2 MB, which fits many government and bank portals.
Which formats are supported?
Input: JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP. Output: JPEG (smaller) or PNG (lossless).
