When should I use this seating chart maker?
Use it for weddings, banquets, reunions, classes, workshops or any event where people need to be split across tables with rules.
Can I force certain guests to sit together?
Yes. Add names or group names in the keep-together field, one set per line.
Can a friend group sit at the same or nearby tables?
Yes. Each group can be kept together, placed nearby, spread out, or limited to a table zone.
Can I avoid seating certain people together?
Yes. Add those names or groups to the avoid-same-table field. Any unresolved rule appears in the alerts.
Can I place tables and chairs on a canvas and export it?
Yes. Tables can be dragged and resized, chairs move with their table, and the layout can be exported as PNG.
What if too many rules conflict?
The tool still creates a usable plan and lists the rules that need review, so you can relax a condition or adjust manually.
Is my guest list uploaded?
No. The guest list, rules and layout are handled in your browser only.
